Reason for Founding Halo of Hope:

From the first time I was able to work with children oncology patients, during my time as a Nebraska Cornhusker, I was hooked on helping these children out. When I was invited to the Circle of Friends Camp a few years back, I knew right then and there I could and would be able to make a difference. The camp was such a transformative for the kids and for me. I started Halo because the Foundation would give me the opportunity to teach people about these camps and at the same time raise the money needed to take the kids and keep camps going!
