Nicholas Miaskowski
On May 22, 2006, Nicholas was diagnosed with a brain tumor called Medjulablastoma while he was 10 years old. Nicholas received 9 rounds of chemo and 30 days of radiation over the course of his battle with cancer. Daniela Czeska Lakosilova
In 2007, at the age of 12, Daniela was hit with the news that she had Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (A.L.L.). Daniela fought cancer, yet unfortunately relapsed in 2012, when she was 16. As a Halo Camper, Daniela attended the 2008 camp in Green Bay, as well as the 2010 Florida Reunion Camp. She is still battling to beat this disease on a daily basis.
