Halo of Hope Ramps Up for First Annual Halo-Ween Ball Event

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
EVENT DATE: October 27, 2012

(Schererville IN) – The Jared Tomich’s Halo of Hope Foundation, supporting kids with cancer and blood disorder illness, announces its Inaugural Halo-Ween Ball Event, set for October 27th at the Historic Pentwater Barn in Crown Point, Indiana.

The Halo-Ween Ball is the first event the foundation will host, aside from the Annual Halo and Hackers Golf Outing.  This event is adult only and requires attendees to dress in costume. The event will run from 4:30pm until 9:30pm and features a costume contest, gory buffet, beer and wine tastings, live music from the Nick Danger Band, a Haunted Silent Auction and more. There are 200 tickets available for the event, and they are on a first come, first serve basis. Individual tickets for the event are $100.00. Table sponsorships are available for $1,500.00 and include 10 tickets. A number of additional sponsorships and donation items for silent auction are being accepted at this time.

All funds raised from this event will go directly to the Halo of Hope Foundation and will help send kids to the Circle of Friends Camps, as well as provide various types of support to local kids with pediatric cancer and blood disorders. Over the past 6 years Jared has raised enough money to send over 60 kids to camp, and to support many families in fundraising during times of need. The generous donation of family, friends, and community help the foundation thrive, and we look forward to this event helping us reach our goals.

The Halo of Hope Activities Committee is spearheading all the planning and designing aspects of the event.  Several community members are involved in the process, as well as an imaginative design team. The Activities Committee welcomes new members on a rolling basis, and with varied levels of interest in the organization.
