Halo of Hope Teams Up with Buffalo Wild Wings During the Month of March

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

March 2013

(Northwest Indiana)  – The Jared Tomich Halo of Hope Foundation is teaming up with local Buffalo Wild Wings locations during the month of March in support of the Hoops for Halos Donation Program. Buffalo Wild Wings Franchise Owner, Michael Ansley of Diversified Restaurant Holdings, Inc., and his team have been kind in selecting Halo of Hope as their charity of choice for their pinup program. Hoops for Halos began officially on March 1st and will run through the entire month of March.

The Buffalo Wild Wing’s program allows customers to donate in two different ways. The first way is through the Hoops for Halos Program. At the end of the meal, customers are able to round up their bill, or donate a few dollars in support of the Halo of Hope Foundation. Customers who donate will receive a “Hoops for Halos” pinup to be signed and placed on the wall of Buffalo Wild Wings for the duration of the month. The second way to donate is through donation boxes. Each location has a Halo of Hope Foundation Donation Box at the front of the location to allow individuals to donate change.

All proceeds from donations will go directly to The Halo of Hope Foundation, founded by local, retired NFL player Jared Tomich. Tomich began his foundation after attending a Circle of Friends camp in Wisconsin that focused on children with cancer. This is his foundation’s first year running the Hoops for Halos Program. He hopes Hoops for Halos will help grow awareness of his foundation throughout Northwest Indiana and the Chicagoland Area.

In appreciation of the local Buffalo Wild Wings Team, the Halo of Hope Foundation is holding a night to meet up and support both the foundation and restaurant establishment. On March 20th, the Halo of Hope Board of Directors and Activities Committee will be meeting at the Schererville Buffalo Wild Wings from 5pm-9pm. Our Board will be available to meet the public, discuss Halo of Hope and provide more information to any parties interested in the Foundation. This is also a great opportunity to say thank you to the Buffalo Wild Wings Team and bring more people to support their business and the good works they are doing.

Hoops for Halos Program is available at 8 local Buffalo Wild Wings including Schererville, Crown Point, Hobart, and Valparaiso, Indiana locations; and Lincoln Park, Homewood, Calumet City, and Lansing, Illinois.

Thank You Diversified Restaurant Holdings, Inc. and the Buffalo Wild Wings Team!
